An interstellar collaboration
We worked with Balfour Beatty to make a rich collection of visual assets, CGIs and Apps to support them in their 30 Grosvenor Square Bid.
The brief was big: a seven-star Rosewood hotel for Qatari Diar, on the site of the old US Embassy in Mayfair. The bid needed to land with the same ambition.
We built the visual story around the "interstellar" theme — Balfour Beatty as the team with the science, discipline and intelligence to deliver an out-of-this-world result. The full suite: fully narrated 4D logistics and construction animations, a dedicated fit-out animation, an augmented reality app that overlaid digital content onto a physical building model, and a bespoke presentation app that let the bid team move through their pitch fluidly, without ever opening PowerPoint.
The work landed. Glowing feedback in the room. Real leverage in the process. A team equipped to make a confident, distinctive pitch.
“Great feedback from QD and their wider design team. 'Market leading' was the feedback!”
