About us

Preconstruct is a creative studio specialising in communications for the built environment. Based in Bristol and London, working with clients across the UK, the US and beyond. Established 2003.

We bring spaces, places and ideas to life before they physically exist — crafting images, animations and interactive experiences that inform, excite and inspire.

Collaborators include architects, contractors, property developers, planning consultants, designers, law firms, and marketing and PR specialists, from independent practices to international firms. Our partnerships are diverse and our creations eclectic.

Our work helps win bids and competitions, secure planning approval and funding, communicate complex designs and ideas, and market your vision. But above all, we communicate your messages and stories with clarity, accuracy and heart.

Distance is no barrier. We work with clients in the United States, including US contractors who come back to us project after project. Our studio day overlaps with the East Coast morning, and we plan reviews and deliveries around your schedule, so work moves forward while you sleep.

Each project is crafted by a team who cares. We prioritise a friendly, thoughtful, problem-solving approach, and you can speak directly with the artists and technicians responsible for your project. We have tried-and-tested methods, but every project has its own challenges. It’s that combination of creativity and technical process that makes our work so satisfying.
